Mashaal Raas is a traditional garba dance that the people of the Indian province of Saurashtra preserve. In the performance, young men dressed in traditional attire dance amidst swastikas while using fire torches and performing various moves. At the end, they spread flammable material on the ground and dance on the flames. This art form has been performed in Jamnagar, India, since 1957 and symbolizes strength, courage and devotion.
